When asked to re-enter your birth date, they only have a drop down for the year which goes back to 1956. Needless to say this is a problem for anyone born in 1955 or earlier. It seems to me that this is an effort by Facebook to hold onto a lot of accounts where people are deceased or simply are old and have forgotten their password. I suggest there are probably millions of old accounts out there that just help facebook gather more money from advertizers but which no longer represent anyone.

No doubt, the best part about the passwords saved through the browser password managers is you do not need to install any additional software, and the needed passwords can be quickly accessed in case of an emergency. For example, if you are in a panic asking yourself how to see my Facebook password. On the other hand, computer security experts agree saving such sensitive data via browsers might be not as safe as storing them while using dedicated password managers like Cyclonis, which was created for a single purpose of keeping your information safe. With it on your side, you will never need to

I was on facebook in the morning then i logged out after 2 hours i just decided to login unfortunately it said incorrect password..so on my account i used my old number which is lost and i can't get recovery code via email or text..is there any way i can recover it?

Because so much personal information is kept on a Facebook platform, you need to change it regularly. I recommend at least around every three months. And if there is any reason to believe your account has been compromised such as someone posting on your behalf, you've got to act quickly to regain control. Keeping your password fresh and new is one way to avoid getting sent down this rabbit hole. If you cannot remember the last time you changed your Facebook password, then it's time to get smart about updating the password without delay.

You need to have a strong password, one with capital and lowercase letters and numbers and symbols. You should keep your password in a safe place, so you don't have to worry about forgetting it or getting it into the wrong hands.

Changing your Facebook password from your Android also has very similar steps. Keep in mind that many Android phones act slightly differently from one another, so these instructions may be similar though not exact for your phone and version of Android software.

Your Facebook password should be easy enough to reset as long as you have the email or mobile phone number connected to the account. Here's what you need to do if you are not already logged into your Facebook account:

TeamPassword is a robust password manager where you can keep all your credentials in one place! You never have to remember passwords because TeamPassword complete's login forms for you! Sign up for a 14-day free trial to experience the convenience and security of TeamPassword!

These days, most people save passwords in the browser. If you're logging in using another device (or browser), try checking your browser's password manager, where you'll likely find your Facebook credentials!

Saving passwords in a browser like Google Chrome is risky because these password managers are unencrypted. We have another article about the risks of saving passwords in Chrome and our recommendations for a better password manager solution.

The easiest method is sticking to two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator (GA). To log in to Facebook, you will need your password and a six-digit code from GA. Without the GA code, you can't log into your Facebook account.

With any password reset, prevention is better than cure! Using a password manager is the best way to manage your login credentials securely and not have to worry about remembering passwords!

TeamPassword is a password manager designed to make sharing credentials easy and secure! You never have to remember or enter passwords when logging in because TeamPassword does it all for you.

TeamPassword's most robust feature is its ability to share credentials securely. If your team still shares passwords via email, Slack, or spreadsheets, you are exposing your company and customers to many cybersecurity risks.

TeamPassword's groups are also great for hiring contractors or freelancers. Set these temporary team members up on TeamPassword and remove them when they complete the job. No need to share raw login credentials or change passwords when a coworker leaves the team!

If you're having trouble logging into Facebook, first check to see if the site is down. If it's not down, you can try logging in with a different browser or try clearing your internet cache and cookies. If you can't remember your password, or you think you've been hacked, recover your account and change your password.

One of the prominent password-resetting options of any website or service, Instagram included, is to reset your account password using the email address on file. In addition to your standard password reset method, Instagram provides its users with a secondary method to reset a password by using your Facebook account. If you previously synced both your Facebook and Instagram accounts together, you can use your Facebook account to access your Instagram account and reset the password. You can reset your password via Facebook only when using Instagram on a mobile device.

We'll be happy to help with your Facebook password. If you have iCloud Keychain turned on under Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Keychain, you can go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Passwords to locate it.

Quick tip: If you have multiple Instagram accounts and want to change the password for a different account, tap and hold the account icon at the bottom of the screen and choose the account you want from the pop-up window.

7. Enter your current password and then type the new password you want to use. When you're done, tap Save (if you're using iOS) or the checkmark (on Android).

If you connected your Gmail account to Facebook when you signed up, you also can log into Google to gain immediate access to reset your Facebook password. This bypasses the confirmation email and code being sent to your email address at all.

Facebook provides multiple options for keeping your account secure other than just using a standard password. You can set up two-factor authentication, specify authorized devices on which you can sign in, name trusted contacts, and more. Reviewing these settings can really help keep your Facebook account secure. 2ff7e9595c
